David Fox is an international award-winning singer and songwriter. His second album "Driving by the Light of the Moon" is a thematic collection of original songs of love, loss, and times gone by that has been described as beautiful and haunting. Included among the album's twelve tracks is his song "Paterson"...a tribute to the place and time of his youth. Of that song, New York area radio and TV personality "Uncle Floyd" Vivino said, "It’s unbelievable, this masterpiece he made called ‘Paterson'… if you haven’t heard this yet, you’re in for a real treat." The tracks on the album range in style from power pop to expressive piano and acoustic guitar ballads.
"Driving by the Light of the Moon" is the follow up to David's first album "Scratches and Dust" which contains sixteen original songs. On that album, the "60s" influence is evident throughout with catchy melodies, jangling guitars, rich harmonies, and thoughtful lyrics from the personal to the historical, from the political to the philosophical.
Of David's music, reviewer Alec Cunningham said, "Each of his songs tells a particular story in impressive detail...it's refreshing to hear music with character so strong..." In addition to writing all the songs on both albums, with the exception of two tracks David plays all the instruments, including electric and acoustic guitars, bass, piano, keyboards, and drums.
